World Hike

World Hike is a simple one-page RPG about circumnavigating the world, getting into (and out of) adventurous situations, managing the strain of an epic voyage, and growing as a person along the way. World Hike can be played solo or in a group, with or without a GM. It also includes a one-page zine format so you can fold it into a pocket-sized booklet.

World Hike is a spin on my other game, Mountain Hike, and is the first game I made using The Hike Framework as a codified guide. This game is a little more mechanically dense than Mountain Hike, and is built for longer adventures. You can expect World Hike to take two or three sessions for a full world circumnavigation, especially with a large group of players who get immersed in the roleplay.

A diceless 'Out for a Walk' mode with a unique travelling theme is still in development.

Note: Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days is about, among other things, the British Empire at its colonial height. World Hike does not endorse colonialism or empires of any kind. Instead, the author of this ttrpg would encourage players to make this journey their own, and create a better world as they play.
