Connections

Connections is a hack of Ben Wray's Roll For Shoes, with one important change. Instead of discovering new skills with set values, you discover new aspects that add to an interconnected web representing your character. When you roll, navigate this web to chain relevant aspects together and build a pool of dice. The character sheet, created during play, is inspired by 'mind maps', which you may have learned how to make during creative writing class.

Setting-agnostic, rules-minimal, duet and one-shot friendly, no prep needed.
