After the long, difficult task of protecting the egg, your baby dragon has finally hatched.

Now the true challenge begins.

Dragon Keeper is a ttrpg about a dragon keeper and their newly-hatched baby dragon, who are thrown into a fantastical journey of discovery, magic, friendship, and growth. These two characters use simple but asymmetric rules. The Dragon starts small and grows in power from trying new things, and from their Keeper's care. The Keeper starts skilled but needs to rest and catch their breath -- which may be a challenge when a baby dragon is such a handful.

Dragon Keeper is played with a GM and 1-2 players: a duet game with one player as both Dragon and Keeper, or a trio game with one player as the Dragon and one player as the Keeper. Built for one-shots and short multi-session adventures, this game is quick to pick up and start playing, and is suitable for both older and younger audiences.

The front page holds everything needed to play, and the back page is home to GM guides, a character sheet, and optional variations on the basic rules.

I like the cooperative nature of teamwork. Rules are well organized and explained.

This looks like playing it would make for a lovely time. Probably would prefer it as a 3 player game, I think.

It’s impressive how much you managed to convey on one sheet of paper. So cool you even included optional rules and modules.
I am curious to try the asymmetrical dice mechanics.

Nice job!

Thank-you! I'm excited to check out your games, too. I had a great time playing Little Dung Guy last year so I was happy to see Sleepy Badger pop up in this Jam's submissions.

Awww that’s so cool that you played one of my games already! Thanks!

I did help to playtest this, so bear that in mind, but this is one of the most fun one-page RPGs I've played, and I've played quite a few. The dice mechanics work seamlessly with the theme and it all flows together really nicely. It would be a great game to introduce new or younger players to TTRPGs.

Thanks so much, Euan, for playtesting and for the praise!
